Year 5 went to Eden to look at the exotic plants and to explore the Rainforest biome – this was really hot and you could tell what it was like to live in a rainforest.
We went into the Education Centre and saw the things that would be in the rainforest and how they could be used for a shelter and for tools.
We saw a plant that you could touch and it would close up.
There was a workshop called ‘Don’t Forget Your Leechsocks’ – it was run by Nick, who had been to the rainforest himself and showed us his leech bites.
The best bit of the day for Lauren was having an ice cream at the end of the day – it was fantastic!
I really enjoyed the trip to Eden, my favourite part was when we all played it in the shelter,it was really funny, I hope the next year 5’s enjoy it as much as I did.x

I really enjoyed our trip to Eden. It was really fun. My favourite bit was going in the rainforest biome. As soon as we walked in there everybody started sweating. In the medditeraineum biome me and my friend Georgea had a great time laughing our heads of at the statues. I was in a group with Ben and Georgea. Overall i had a really good time.

Hi mr S, would you be able to tell everyone in yr6 that I miss them all and would like to see them once more .I have looked at the animated videos and say to adam bennett that I have got skulduggerry pleasant books no.1 &2 and they are great.

In the rainforest biome. My favourite plants where the travellers palm and the sensitve plant. And there was this banana shelter which was cool. I also like pulling the rope for the large man to move and going in this jungle area.
I loved the trip to Eden. I’d love to go back again!

The best thing about eden was having ice cream and playing it in the maze it was really fun!!! I hope the next year 5s enjoy it as much we did!

I really liked going to eden my favorite part was in the rainforest. We had icecream it was lush After that we walked up to wait for the bus! But it was not there we had to wait but finally it came! So the day was really fun!
